Cleanup — Legal & Support
Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Support for the Cleanup iOS app. Developer: Disolutions · dhavalbhanderi880@gmail.com
Privacy Policy
Cleanup is built to run entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share your personal data. Your photos, videos, and contacts never leave your iPhone.
Information we do NOT collect
Cleanup has no user accounts and runs no analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not collect:
- Your photos, videos, or their contents or metadata
- Your contacts
- Personal identifiers, location, device identifiers, or usage analytics
- Any data that leaves your device
All scanning, duplicate detection, compression, and deletion happen locally using Apple's on-device frameworks.
Device permissions we request
- Photos (read/write) — to scan your library for duplicates, screenshots, and large videos, show thumbnails, compress videos, and delete items you choose. Deletions use the standard iOS flow; items go to Recently Deleted (recoverable for 30 days).
- Contacts (read/write) — to find and merge duplicate contacts at your request.
You can review or revoke permissions anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security.
Subscriptions and purchases
Cleanup Pro is an auto-renewable subscription processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple provides us only aggregate, anonymized sales data and handles billing under Apple's Privacy Policy.
Data retention
Because we collect no personal data, we have nothing to retain or delete on our servers. App settings (appearance, haptics, reclaimed-space history) are stored locally and removed when you delete the app.
Third parties
Cleanup does not share data with third parties. The only external service involved is Apple's App Store / StoreKit for subscriptions.
Children's privacy
Cleanup is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Your rights
Because we don't collect personal data, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, or delete. You remain in full control of your photos and contacts through iOS.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Effective date" above.

Terms of Service
By downloading or using Cleanup ("the App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and these Terms.
2. The service
Cleanup helps you free up storage by finding duplicate photos, screenshots, and large videos, compressing videos, and merging duplicate contacts — all processed on your device. You are responsible for reviewing items before deletion. Deletions use the standard iOS flow; removed items go to Recently Deleted and remain recoverable for 30 days.
3. Subscriptions (Cleanup Pro)
- Cleanup Pro is available monthly or annually, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation of purchase or at the end of any free trial.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged within 24 hours prior to renewal.
- Manage or cancel in Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Prices may vary by region; Apple processes all payments.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, reverse engineer it (except as permitted by law), or use it to violate any law or another person's rights.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. While it is designed to act only on items you select and to rely on iOS's recoverable-deletion behavior, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We do not warrant the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Disolutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Changes
We may modify the App or these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Gujarat and the laws of India, without regard to their conflict of law principles.

Support
Is Cleanup safe? Will I lose my photos?
Cleanup only removes the items you select, and deletions use Apple's standard flow — removed photos and videos go to Recently Deleted and stay recoverable for 30 days. Nothing is deleted without your confirmation.
Does Cleanup upload my photos or contacts?
No. All analysis happens on your device. Nothing is uploaded and we don't collect your data.
How do I recover something I deleted?
Open Photos → Albums → Recently Deleted, select items, and tap Recover (within 30 days).
Why does Cleanup need Photos and Contacts access?
Photos access finds duplicates, screenshots, and large videos and deletes the ones you choose. Contacts access finds and merges duplicates. Both are used only on your device. Change permissions in Settings → Privacy & Security.
What does Cleanup Pro include?
Smart Cleanup (find and remove duplicates, screenshots, and large videos), unlimited video compression, unlimited swipes, and contact merge. The free version includes 3 video compressions and up to 50 swipes a day.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Open the App → Settings → Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions → Cleanup and turn off auto-renew. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
Video compression freed little space — why?
Already-efficient or short clips have little to reclaim. Compression saves the most on long, high-resolution videos; the estimate shown reflects this.
